Rugby League star Paul Whatuira tasered by police after alleged assault

It usually normally requires a few of sixteen-stone forwards to bring down Rugby League star Paul Whatuira.
But when the 6ft previous New Zealand international was arrested soon after an “unprovoked” road attack, police made a decision it was wiser to use a Taser gun.

The 28-yr-previous Huddersfield Giants player allegedly struck two men in an early morning confrontation in the city centre.

Hours later on he was bailed and taken from police cells to a psychiatric hospital for a mental wellbeing check.

1 of the attacked guys has extreme deal with accidents and a suspected damaged jaw.

Whatuira, who weighs 14-stone, was arrested by police who had to get in touch with for again-up before making use of the stun gun.
